TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATIONAL FIELD

The Interactive Whiteboards are the smart boards that are popularly being used today. These smart boards are finding their utility everywhere ranging from a teaching field to the training and demonstration field. These presentation boards provide interaction with other technologies, so they are used for multipurpose requirements. These boards have interfaces to attach to computers, laptops, screen projectors and many other devises. These portable smart boards are not simple boards but the boards carrying features of today's rapidly growing world.

These smart whiteboards offer great benefits to every age group and for people of varied fields. In educational field for example, teachers use this smart board technology to enhance students creativity together with their attention to be more intrested during teaching and learning process. Teachers may let the students to try some activities on it and let them try their ownself to explore the use of smart board. The boards have an attractive look to entice kids to enjoy their studies. Not only this, but these boards also provide easy readability to the students as they have a base of white color, which is the most suitable to our eyes and this color has its own brightness which helps release the stress on eyes.

The smart board is compatible for making connections with slide and projector technology and the computer interactive technology. If it is used in schools or colleges then it expunges the need to go to other places for giving demonstrations. It also increases students' interest in learning. Through this way a teacher can address large number of students with a single whiteboard, which otherwise would have been very difficult with a single computer or laptop.

One of the great features of these Interactive Whiteboards is that these allow the data on board to be saved on computer hard disk. Is it not a great feature? This way the classroom tutorials can be saved and be redisplayed when required. This feature can also be very useful for business meeting purposes where slides are displayed on whiteboards and record of meetings are to be made.

The Interactive Whiteboards due to their multiuse features are finding use in many fields. Today these smart boards are being used for delivering presentations, video conferencing, training, e learning, demonstrations and still many more. Their video conferencing feature has offered a great advantage; the computer or laptop display can be transferred to the white board, so the small conferencing equipments can be made to suffice the need of large equipments.

With the training application of Interactive Whiteboards, the trainers can very interactively teach their trainees, which otherwise through simple computers or laptops might have been very difficult to substantiate. Their feature of delivering presentations is remarkable. Due to this feature of Interactive Whiteboards, these are ubiquitous whether it is seminar halls, presentation and speech rooms, and product demonstration halls, coaching institutes and even in shows, parties, gatherings and events.

It is omnipresence is easy to understand. It is an interface for addressing a large group of people, for example in gatherings or parties, where people are not able to see distant happenings; these smart whiteboards make their utility there by shortening the distance between them. So, the whiteboards now have become a must for companies, educational institutes, exhibition centers and demonstration halls and for many more places.

MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Being a teacher will give a lot of benefits and some may said that it might be burden to cope with all the people in school's attitude, but for me, being a teacher as my professional job, many things i can learn. Moreover, many things i can explore.

- In order to serve to my country, to help my own nation, my own religion and my own generation, i will do my best to provide all the student's with appropriate knowledge and guide them to a right path, hopefully.
- In addition, in order to have such a variety of student's background, all ranges of education, different levels of education, as an educator or a teacher specifically, it's my responsibilities to be in constant contact with all of the students.
- I will be constantly make a fun learning process, encouraging, creatively rewarding in handling the P&P process.
- Moreover, it is my own desire to help all the student's of mine to meet their full potential in these educational areas by providing them with the class or teaching and learning environment that is safe, support risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
- There are elements that i believe are conductive to establishing a safe and secure environment for educational process such as :
a) I will act as a good guider to them in whatever condition they involved and whenever i think they need me to be their supporter, this is all because, they are my students, my future life saver.
b) Moreover, as a teacher, i will let them to explore their curiosity and their less understanding in science by let them exploring it during experiment but under my guidance.
c) I will tell them the most important things in life that, all of people or even animals need respect of other peoples and never underistimate other persons if one can not do his/her best in something.
d) Help each other in whatever situation involved in class, grow the students belief in their mind and heart that they need one another in life.

For myself, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I feel there is a need for compassionate, strong, and dedicated individuals who are excited about working with children. In our competitive society it is important for students to not only receive a solid education, but to work with someone who is aware of and sensitive to their individual needs. I am such a person and will always strive to be the best educator that I can be.

PHOTO's EDITING SESSION..

Yesterday in ICT class, we had an intresting learning session which is about editing photos and making a simple collage together with making a simple movie maker by using a prigramme named PICASA 3. It is one of the programme that is specialist in editing photos so that the photos might be much better than the old one.

this class was conducted by Mr. Aljunaidi under Mdm Asmayati attention.. Mr. Aljunaidi is actually work as student and RA or Research Asisstant to Mdm Asmayati and some other lecturers... back to PICASA session, i had edited one beautiful picture on sunflower and making a cute collage.. it such an interesting thing to explore eventhough it is quite familiar programme to me... I had an experience in editing pictures by using this PICASA programme, but it was only click and try movement. if it was satissfying me, then, it will be in my save folders, or not, undo session will happened quite many times.... ehehe...

the function of PICASA programme is to repair broken picture and make pictures more interesting and beautiful. Moreover, we also can create a simple collage depend on our own creativity. In addition, we also can create a movie maker, but not as cool as WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER's programme.. but, if smeone want a simple presentation on smething by using this kind of simple movie maker, go ahead..... you are open to try it... but not so fast, make sure you have the programme first..

TODAY's LESSON

For today lesson, we learned about how to use microsoft EXCEL. One of the software which is important among the most important software in teacher's life especially, to learn and to apply in our learning session one day in school. This EXCEL file give so many benefits in order to sum up any kind of number file wether test marks, exam marks and so on. By applying this software in daily use, one may practice and customize every numbering files in a manner way, which means that, we dont have to fully depend on manual calculation by using calculator only..
